Your agents. Your computer. Your app on your phone.
Lyre does not replace the coding agent you already use. It gives that agent your project, a live preview of the app, and a way to keep working from another device.

Agents Lyre runs
Each agent keeps its own account, model choice and approval behavior. Lyre supplies the project, the preview and the connection to your other devices.
| Agent | How Lyre runs it | What you need |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | First-class provider | An Anthropic account or API key |
| Codex | First-class provider | An OpenAI account or API key |
| GitHub Copilot | First-class provider | A Copilot account |
| OpenCode | First-class provider | A model source, including a local model server |
| Pi / Oh My Pi | First-class provider | Pi’s host tools and provider configuration |
| Lyre AI | Included with a Lyre AI plan | No provider key |
| Antigravity | Community ACP connector | Google kernel and sign-in |
| Muse Code | Built-in ACP provider | An existing Muse installation |
Lyre also runs Agent Client Protocol agents such as Cursor, Devin, Gemini CLI, Cline, Amp and Factory Droid. Open Settings > AI & agents > Agent software to see the current list and add one. A catalog entry means the agent can be connected, not that every feature is available.
What Lyre adds
| Question | Lyre | The agent alone |
|---|---|---|
| Your project and files | Stay on the computer you chose. | Stay wherever you opened them in the terminal or editor. |
| Your agent account | Your existing subscription or API key. Lyre does not resell it. | Your account, billed by the provider. |
| Seeing the running app | A live app preview in the same workspace as the conversation. | Start the dev server and open a browser yourself. |
| Using it from another device | Paired phone or browser client, with host permissions and revocation. | Not part of the agent. |
| Sharing the app | App-only link or QR code for one running app, with a five-minute redemption window. | Deploy it somewhere else, or share the code. |
What to expect
Platform support differs per agent and is enforced by that agent. Permission modes, approval prompts and model access belong to the provider you configured. Lyre AI, hosted inference and Lyre Cloud have their own plans and availability.
Questions
Does Lyre replace my coding agent?
No. Lyre runs the agents you already use and keeps their own accounts, models and approval behavior. You choose the agent; Lyre gives it your project, a live preview and a way to reach that work from another device.
Which agents work today?
Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, Pi and Lyre AI are first-class providers. Lyre also runs Agent Client Protocol agents; the current list is in Settings > AI & agents > Agent software.
Do I need to move my project into Lyre?
No. Open the folder where it already lives on your computer. The source stays there, and prompts go only to the provider you configured.
Can I use it from my phone?
Yes, through a paired device connected to your computer. The computer has to stay awake and reachable, and its permissions decide what the other device can do. Remote viewing has a plan allowance on Free.
Do local models work?
Yes, if you run a local model server. It stays on your machine, and Lyre does not route it through a hosted provider.
